May 14, 2013 –Honolulu, Hawaii– Element Media, Inc., Hawai’i’s leading custom publishing firm and creator of Pacific Edge Magazine, welcomes 2013 Mrs. Hawaii International Keikilani Ho as its esteemed guest to the exclusive 3rd Annual Pacific Edge Magazine Business Achievement Awards Gala.  Ms. Ho will greet attendees on the red carpet and congratulate award recipients at this year’s event to be held on Thursday, May 30th, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower Marketplace.

Pacific Edge Magazine and Mrs. Hawaii International will work together to highlight Ms. Ho’s platform of supporting children with disabilities and inspiring them with hope as they venture through difficult times.  Ms. Ho’s own son, Jordan, was born 15 weeks premature and suffered various health challenges as a result, including partial blindness.  After he was bullied at school, Ho decided she wanted to help all children who suffer from bullying and other challenges due to their disability.  In response, she published The Little Big Miracle in 2011, a children’s book about her journey with Jordan, for parents to share with their children.

“We appreciate the opportunity to work with Pacific Edge Magazine in highlighting Ms. Ho’s cause to support children with disabilities,” said Dana Rickard, Mrs. Hawaii International Pageant Director.  “Keikilani is a dynamic role model who exemplifies Mrs. Hawaii International’s mission and Pacific Edge Magazine’s commitment to the larger community.  Both outlets are complimentary of each other and adds a unique element to an already stellar red carpet event.”
