The location is set, the nominees are selected and the live entertainment is confirmed. But potential gala attendees still need to know one of the night’s most important aspects – what’s on the menu?
Liquid Courage
A little beer or bubbly can leave you relaxed and ready to network at the evening’s step-and-repeat red carpet arrival and pupu hour. Guests can choose a complimentary beer courtesy of Kona Brewing Co., or a glass of wine or champagne courtesy of Johnson Bros. of Hawaii. Designated drivers can opt for a sip of Fiji Water instead.
Guilty Pleasure
Fresh Cafe Hawaii is known for hosting urban community events at its downtown and Kakaʻako locations, providing casual, indulgent menu items to match. Guests will get the chance to try their bacon-wrapped button mushrooms stuffed with spinach artichoke dip, their bell pepper, spinach and cream cheese-strewn Pop-Eye Pizza and fried avocado bites with roasted garlic and ginger wasabi aioli.
Delicious Indulgence
Hale Aina Caterers and Chef Kanani Lincoln offer delicious, gourmet portions for the gala’s sit-down dinner. All attendees can partake in their cinnamon baked pear salad with goat cheese and toasted macadamia. For the main course, guests can choose between sweet lemongrass soy-braised boneless short ribs or house-made fettuccine with Hauʻula tomato sauce.
